Due to the extraordinary situation that has arisen with COVID-19 and its spread, the Academy of Fine Arts has closed all public activities. The closure is in effect until May 26, but may be extended.
Our current exhibitions have been documented and are available via our YouTube channel.
Lina Bjerneld (b. 1979) received the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts' exhibition grant from the Gerard Bonnier Fund in 2019.
exhibition Ddd thing revolves around a series of new works; paintings and drawings. The starting point lies in suffering and passivity, but at the same time the exhibition wants to show a belief in the power of action. To still, despite everything, try to shape a sound, a tone or a figure.

Biography
Lina Bjerneld, born in 1979 and educated at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Stockholm. Raised in Mora and active in Stockholm. She has exhibited both internationally and in Sweden.
Selected exhibitions
Malmö Art Museum, the 14th Vilnius Painting Triennial, CAC,
Art Brussels, Crystal Gallery, Galleri Flach, Fullersta Gård and Ahlbergshallen Östersund.
Lina Bjerneld has been awarded a scholarship from the Sven Erixson Memorial Fund from the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts and received a residency grant at Kunstdepot in Switzerland and IASPIS in Sweden. Her research project Klockspelet / Carillon, funded by the Swedish Arts Council, was exhibited and published in 2019.
