Info

This year, the Academy of Fine Arts is participating in the Gothenburg Book Fair together with seven other royal and national academies: the Academy of Music, the Academy of Forestry and Agriculture, the Academy of Literature, the Gustav Adolf Academy, the Swedish Naval Academy, the Academy of Military Sciences and the Academy of Engineering Sciences.

Most of Sweden's national academies were founded in the 1700th century, while others were established in the 1800th and early 1900th centuries. Through scholarships, seminars, prizes and knowledge exchange, the academies contribute to research, development and a vibrant community.

Welcome to our joint stand to take part in a varied program of talks and presentations, discover what the academies are doing today and browse through our current publications.
