Dance at the Academy of Fine Arts
An exploration in dance and movement by the Ballet Academy group Dance for Parkinson's together with students in professional dance education.
Dance for Parkinson is a method where Dance meets people with Parkinson's disease. We dance and both explore and challenge the art.
Together with young dancers from professional dance training, we show that all bodies can be seen and heard.
In this performance, we take place among plaster sculptures, among bodily ideals, and bring to life bodies that have solidified.
Contraposto is not just a position of a human body, it is a relaxed attitude and a dance with history.
