Welcome to Inflections – a closing performance in Gideonsson/Londré's exhibition with Gabriella Boris.

With a strong desire to bend backwards, we stood up instead, then sat down again. The same thing every time. Filled with twice as many thoughts, four legs and twenty fingers, the origin moved between the fused vertebrae. Skull and pelvis had now forgotten each other and the gaze stretched so far that the eyes began to leave their sockets.

The mountain rose from the water and forced us onto land where we made our way with our legs still in the mud. All positions have their problems. The vultures circled above the trees but we stood still and distributed our weight, with our faces turned to the sky.

We start over, we crouch over another, reaching for a beginning, for a place to inhabit. There the dogs lie curled up with their noses in their butts. The leaning body is always on the move, bending towards something, never seeming to be self-sufficient.
