Exhibition Everything is still, everything is in motion shows two artists who meet in an effort to explore the function of grief, as well as destruction and dissolution as prerequisites for other becomings. The title is taken from the poem Sacrament by Johan Lindblom, which resonates in the exhibition and depicts how change and permanence replace each other in an endless cycle. Sculptural objects are mixed with painting and photography, united by the kinship of the individual expressions.

Anna Sissela Gustavsson and Eliana Ivarsdotter Haddad have collaborated for the past five years, and continue their continuous search for connections that lead to new paths where they jointly navigate different aspects of reality. A new feature is that the two artists show three works that were created in a joint creative process.

The artists' voices about each other:

Anna Sissela Gustavsson:

 – For me, our collaboration and joint process is about two voices mixing. Which can sound strong and form an echo that bounces between us during the work process. I can work on this further, the thoughts can be transformed into my works and at the same time I can give back. In Eliana's works I see a relationship with issues that concern belonging, care and togetherness. The themes are connected with her sensitivity in the choices of expression, such as brittle salt crystals on objects and at the same time there are tangible things that the works in neon are capable of. Words that refuse to go out, voices and stories that refuse to be silent.

Eliana Ivarsdotter Haddad:

 – In Anna Sissela's universe, animated things and charged transitional objects move that give me recognition and inspiration. I see the collaboration as a parallel walk in a forest landscape where we are sometimes close, sometimes further apart. At regular intervals we encounter each other and stop, direct the searchlight towards a new point, and illuminate terrain for ourselves and for each other to move in. We are on our respective clearly individual journeys, but the landscape we inhabit is occasionally the same - in different guises. Anna Sissela tenderly conjures up images and creatures sprung from shadows, memories and unknown lands. They come towards me with a strange power that invites awe, anxiety, desire and creative desire. The indomitable life that inexorably circulates in Anna Sissela's worlds sows a trusting seed in me that continues to germinate in the soil that is created in my processes, images and objects.
