No one can claim that a person's own experience is wrong. Perhaps, and most likely, there are several parallel realities that we are all part of in one way or another. For the artist CM Lundberg, this is something very tangible. His paintings on cardboard and panel testify to meetings and experiences in everyday life. The view from a window, a meeting with a person unknown to the artist on a street, whose color on the jacket aroused the artist's eagerness to paint the motif. But here there are also memories and flashbacks. For the artist, truth and sincerity are a guiding star. The painting is real and the direct impact on the surface testifies to this. The artist CM Lundberg seeks through his painting that it corresponds to an experience that is his own, and it should portray the experience as truthfully as possible. The art is in full seriousness.

In 2020, CM Lundberg received the Swedish Academy of Fine Arts' exhibition grant from the Folke Hellström Lind fund. The grant includes an exhibition at the Swedish Academy of Fine Arts, funds to carry out the exhibition, and an exhibition catalogue.
