The Art Academy offers public viewings of the house and collections. It is also possible to book a private viewing of the house or of the current exhibitions.

300 years of contemporaneity – tours of the Academy of Arts' house and collections

The Art Academy's collections tell the story of the development of art from 1735 until today. At this viewing you will see examples of sculpture, painting and architecture in the house at Fredsgatan 12. 

Free admission, pre-registration required
The screening is free of charge, but advance registration is required.
Bring identification!
Collection takes place outside the Celebration Hall in the café, floor 2.

As early as the 1700th century, women were elected to the Academy of Arts. In 1864, the "Fruntimers-Afdelningen" opened, Europe's first academic artist training for women, which also included anatomy, perspective and model drawing.

VAT 6% is added to the viewing fee. 

Costs for extra guard SEK 900 + VAT 25% may be added.
